Frame has been freshened up with an overspray of antique gold and is a match to the 5-light in the above photo.
Both shades are original to the fitting; cream with light gold banding.
Bayonet cap lampholders; chandelier wired and ready for installation.
Fixed overall height = 600mm approx.
Width = 400mm approx.

These 5 and 2-light chandeliers would make a terrific threesome for someone restoring a home from this period.

COMPLETE ORIGINAL 5-LIGHT CHANDELIER

This is quite a special unrestored original chandelier with 5 deep bowl-shaped frosted glass shades, which are original to the piece.

We will supply two extra matching original shades for you to keep as spares.

Overall existing height is approx. 1 metre but this can be shortened or lengthened prior to installation by shortening or lengthening the chain and electrical cable. This piece will need some tender loving care to freshen the paintwork on the frame, which is flaking with age. This is not a difficult job as the shades are easily removed to allow for restoration of the frame, originally finished in a dark bronze paint. The centrepiece of the frame just above the tops of the shades, is quite Art Deco in styling.
Considering its age, we would recommend that the piece be re-wired.

A dainty vintage 3-light chandelier with solid white shades that sit in their cups and are held in place by spring-loaded clips; decorative ceiling mount.

CODE: VINTAGE 5-LIGHT SOLID BRASS

This is a wonderful vintage 5-light chandelier in solid brass.
It has been re-wired with new SBC batten holders and lovely bronze 3-core twisted electrical cable which weaves up through the chain to the solid brass ceiling dome. The chain had deteriorated somewhat so this was replaced with a new florentine bronze (antiqued) oval link which is very much in keeping.
This chandelier is not meant to have glass shades, but instead has candle sleeves concealing the SBC batten holders beneath. The original sleeves had deteriorated so these have been replaced with new yellowy coloured sleeves which are also sympathetic to the fitting. We are able to swap these with new frosted sleeves if requested.
